 Celem kształcenia na kierunku kulturoznawstwo (II stopnia studiów stacjonarnych) jest:

  • nabycie przez Studentów umiejętności niezbędnych do świadomego uczestnictwa w kulturze
  • przygotowanie do realizowania własnych form aktywności społeczno-kulturalnych i upowszechnianie kultury;
  • wykształcenie umiejętności percepcji różnorodnych środowisk kulturowych (polskiego, europejskiego, pozaeuropejskiego)
  • nastawienie na przedsiębiorczość i innowacyjność w sektorze kultury.


Zdobycie wiedzy z zakresu:

  • historii i teorii kultury, rozszerzone o tradycję dyscyplin tworzących podstawy dla teoretycznej refleksji o kulturze (m.in. socjologii, antropologii, filozofii);
  • teorii i historii kultury artystycznej;
  • nauki o komunikacji i mediach artystycznych i użytkowych;
  • ekonomicznych i prawnych uwarunkowań organizacji i zarządzania instytucjami kultury.

Na kierunku dostępne są moduły:

  • Media w kulturze,
  • Film i teatr,
  • Komunikacja w biznesie, 
  • Zarządzanie kulturą,
  • Tożsamość i komunikacja międzykulturowa,
  • Design.

Po ukończeniu studiów absolwent może podjąć pracę w charakterze badacza kultury animatora i organizatora życia kulturalnego oraz menadżera w instytucjach kultury, organizacjach pozarządowych, a także w różnych instytucjach upowszechniania kultury, redakcjach, muzeach, teatrach, kinach, agencjach prasowych, reklamowych i PR-owych
