Forensic and penitentiary psychology WF-ZPS-SP
The aim of the subject is to learn basic issues in the field of forensic and penitentiary psychology, that is issues related to crime.
Methods, assessment criteria:
Continuous evaluation (presence and activity in the classroom). Oral exam. Very good student not only knows the material, but above all he can draw conclusions for judicial, penitentiary and resocialization practice. The student knows the material of the subject well. For a satisfactory grade, the student knows the material, but he can not combine the issues with himself and with the practice. In the case of insufficient grade, the student does not know the material.

3. Social maladjustment - causes, types, manifestations.
4. Theories of crime.
5. Aggression - types, theories.
6. Sexual crime.
7. A proficient psychologist in court proceedings.
8. Areas of functioning of forensic psychologists
9. Psychological opinions as evidence in various categories of cases
10. The problem of lies.
11. Printing tests.
12. Penitentiary system in Poland.
13. Prizonization.
14. Mental agglutination.
15. Prison Tattoos - psychological pronunciation.
16. Creativity of prisoners - psychological background.
17. Functions, principles and methods of penitentiary resocialization.

Knowledge - the student knows how to interpret basic content in the field of judicial and penitentiary psychology; - knows the methods of psychological tests used by a forensic psychologist; - knows the ways of psychological intervention in the environment of prisoners.
Skills - the student is able to choose the appropriate methods for investigating the perpetrators of crimes.
Competences - the student has basic competences in the scope of performing the function of a court expert and the function of a penitentiary psychologist.
Assessment criteria
Continuous assessment means taking into account attendance and activity in class, four hours of absence are allowed. The exam has an oral form, but a written essay is prepared for the exam (about 10 pages of a computer description; its subject is previously agreed with the lecturer), and during the exam the issues contained in this work are discussed, which are then discussed. For a very good grade, a student is able to first draw conclusions from the issues contained in the thesis prepared by him for judicial, penitentiary and resocialization practice, and secondly, satisfactorily answer four oral questions from the content presented during the lecture. For a good grade, a student can draw conclusions for judicial, penitentiary or resocialization practice from his / her written work; questions from the lecture content are no longer asked. For a satisfactory grade, a student prepares a written essay, is able to report on its issues, but is not able to discuss the issues contained in it and is unable to draw conclusions from it for judicial, penitentiary or resocialization practice. An unsatisfactory grade is issued if the student does not prepare a written essay.
