Seminar WF-ZPS-SEMP
The aim of the course is to provide students with the workshop of the researcher and technical preparation for conducting scientific research independently. Issues related to the preparation of the report on the empirical work will be presented, including in particular the preparation of the master's thesis. Tools will be presented to facilitate the research process, including applications for managing bibliographic sources and researcher work management systems.

Learning outcomes
Knowledge: the student knows the stages of scientific research; met scientific bibliographic sources; knows the standards for creating scientific reports, according to the recommendations of APA 6;
Skills: the student is able to plan, prepare and conduct a scientific research and prepare a research report in accordance with APA standards
Competences: analysis and synthesis of subject literature; making research hypotheses;
Assessment criteria
Assessment method: planning, preparation and conducting a simple correlation study (N = 25), using tools learned in class, ended with a report in accordance with APA version 6 standards.
The necessary condition to pass the course is to submit a test report, or possibly a revised report within the deadline given during classes.
Very good: the student is able to plan, prepare and carry out scientific research very well and prepare a research report in accordance with APA standards. The student has no problem with the formulation of hypotheses, chooses research methods adequately to the purpose of the study. The student efficiently uses research tools and applications (word processors; bibliography managers).
Good assessment: student is able to plan, prepare and conduct scientific research well and prepare research report in accordance with APA standards. The student has a problem with the formulation of hypotheses, but chooses research methods appropriate for the purpose of the study. Satisfactory assessment: the student is able to plan, prepare and conduct a scientific research and prepare a research report in accordance with APA standards.
