The aim of the English translation course is to improve the ability to translate text from English into the target language. This subject is particularly relevant for psychology students because it focuses on translating psychological texts, which requires not only advanced knowledge of English, but also a deep understanding of psychological terminology and concepts. The main goals of the English translation course include developing translation skills, understanding psychological terminology and working with various types of scientific texts in psychology. It is important to understand the cultural context of translation: and critical thinking and analysis of the meaning of translated texts: The course encourages students to think critically and analyze source texts, which is crucial in the translation process. The English translation course is an important element of the psychology study program because it enables students to effectively translate psychological texts, which may be useful in scientific research, clinical work, or publications in an international context. It also helps students develop advanced language and cultural skills that are valuable in many other professional fields.
