Practical training WM-I-Z-PRZAW
The aim of student internships is to acquire practical knowledge and skills in the field of computer science, supplementing and extending the knowledge obtained during studies. Internships verify the use of the knowledge acquired during the studies in the work environment and give the opportunity to learn about the real applications of IT and organization of IT work in enterprises at the level and in terms of knowledge and skills corresponding to the content of study programme.
In particular, the aim of the internships is to familiarize Students with the requirements of future employers and the procedure of admission to work, and to gain experience in teamwork by familiarizing Students with the commercial use of IT systems, with the operation and maintenance principles of IT equipment, performing IT engineering tasks, including specialist tests. It should transmit information technology in practice.
The implementation of the professional internship will depend on the possibilities and scope of the company's activity. Typical of the existing scope of work would be computing centers, institutions and enterprises dealing with the creation and operation of computer software and computer networks. In addition, the practice can be carried out wherever there is a need for IT expertise in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of databases and application software systems for a variety of applications.

Assessment criteria
For all learning outcomes, the following assessment criteria are adopted for all forms of verification:
grade 5: fully achieved (no obvious shortcomings),
grade 4.5: achieved almost fully and criteria for awarding a higher grade are not met,
grade 4: largely achieved and the criteria for a higher grade are not met,
grade 3.5: largely achieved - with a clear majority of positives - and the criteria for granting a higher grade are not met,
grade 3: achieved for most of the cases covered by the verification and criteria for a higher grade are not met,
grade 2: not achieved for most of the cases covered by the verification.
