Student internships WM-CH-PS-2
Student internships may be undertaken by students who have completed the first year of studies.
Internships may be carried out in an economic entity or institution selected by the student, in the country or abroad, the profile of which enables the student to achieve the learning outcomes.
Internships should not take place in scientific units (e.g. other universities, institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences) conducting only scientific activity, as well as in educational institutions (e.g. schools). If you wish to do internships in these institutions, the apprentice is required to obtain prior consent from the Dean's Plenipotentiary for internships.
The basis for student internship is a referral issued by the Dean's Plenipotentiary for student internships and, optionally, an agreement (agreement) on cooperation in the implementation of student internships concluded between the UKSW and the host institution.
The host institution appoints an internship tutor (from the workplace), who, together with the student, develops an internship plan containing, inter alia, activities to be performed by the student.
The student receives a substantive credit for the internship from the Dean's Plenipotentiary for internships in the field of chemistry or, in exceptional cases, by the dean or vice-dean. The basis for crediting the internship is the fulfillment of the tasks specified in the internship program, its duration in accordance with the study program, and a positive opinion of the internship supervisor.
Detailed rules for internships are contained in the Regulations for Student Internship at UKSW available on the website of the Faculty and Career Office of UKSW.
