ML: Systemic psychotherapy of families WF-PS-NPSR
As part of the subject, 30 hours of lectures and 15 hours of classes are carried out.
The purpose of the lecture:
Discussion of the theoretical basics and main assumptions of leading schools as part of the systemic family therapy trend. The most important concepts for family diagnosis from a system perspective will be presented, such as: family structure, family communication, strategies or family myths. The basics will be discussed principles and techniques of therapy of individual schools and ethical principles applicable to family therapists.
Exercise goal:
Exercises are aimed at the practical use of knowledge acquired by the student during the lecture. Acquiring basic skills in diagnosing the family system. Acquaintance with selected therapeutic techniques and the possibility of using them when discussing the case study.

In terms of knowledge:
The student has the basic suggestions for the most important family systemic therapy schools: understands the basic relationships of various therapeutic schools.
In terms of skills:
The student has acquired the skills to analyze and compare therapeutic schools available in family system therapy. The student acquires the basic systemic skill of family diagnosis and uses selected therapeutic techniques.
In terms of social competence:
Shaping ethical sensitivity and pro-social attitude in the field of psychological help for the family.

Expectations for students:
Attendance at lectures and exercises is compulsory.
Participation of students in lecture discussions and students' presentations during classes.
