Learning outcomes
1. Student is able to list and describe the major personality disorders.
2. Student is able to define and describe the main symptoms of personality disorders
3. Student can use the classifications of mental personality disorders ICD-10 and DSM-V.
4. Student can name the causes of personality disorders, describes the interaction of risk factors, define the concept of multifactorial etiology and pathogenesis.
5. Student is able to describe the prevalence, course and prognosis of major personality disorders.
6. The student is able to describe the basic forms of psychological therapy are effective in the treatment of personality disorders.
Assessment criteria
Essay devoted to a chosen personality disorder at the end of a series of lectures.
The assessment is based on the following criteria:
1. The student uses appropriate key concepts describing personality disorders,
2. The student understands the specific characteristics of personality disorders - their symptoms, the presence of typical behavior, difficulties in social functioning and defense mechanisms,
3. the student is able to make a preliminary assessment of personality disorders based on the case report or interaction in selected literary or film works,
For all the work student can get from 0 to 6 points.
Assessment:
5 (very good) - 6-5 points,
4 (good) - 4-3 points,
3 (sufficient) - 2 points,
0 (insufficient) - 1-0 point,
