Basics of conducting experimental research using the E-prime software WF-PS-N-PRIM
Method - Classes will be conducted using the workshop method. The lecturer will provide basic information on the functioning of the program and how to conduct research. Next, participants will learn these issues in practice, designing various types of experiments, or introducing modifications to streamline experiments previously created. Participants will also learn about other aspects of conducting experimental research such as sample selection, test conditions, and how to export collected data from the E-prime format to other programs / formats.
Verification: During the last class, the participants will have to design the experiment from scratch. Its performances and how it works will be assessed.

Learning outcomes
-Knowledge: participants know how to design experiments using the E-prime program. They know its possibilities and limitations. They know where to find additional information about the program.
-Skills: Participants are able to design various psychological experiments, conduct research using them, and use the collected data.
-Competence: Participants strive for reliable and compliant methodology to use the experimental method in their own scientific practice.
ECTS points:
1 point - participation and work in class (30 hours);
1 point - final test: preparation and execution (~30 hours)
Assessment criteria
The condition of getting credit is active attendance - performing tasks during classes and self-programming of the given experiment during the last classes
for the grade 2 - he did not participate in the classes and / or did not complete the essay
(the participant cannot use the E-prime program)
for the grade 3 - he participated in the classes in a way and did a job that is characterized by a low level of quality
(the participant can use the E-prime program to a small extent)
for the grade 4 - participated in the classes and did the work at an average level
(the participant can use the E-prime program at an average level)
for the grade 5 - actively participated in the classes and did the work at least at a good level
(the participant can use the E-prime program at least at a good level)
