Knowledge: The student can define domestic abuse. He or she possesses the knowledge about biological, psychiatrical, environmental and interpersonal factors in the occurrence of domestic abuse. The student describes models of domestic abuse. He or she can characterise relations between an offender and a victim. He or she can describe therapeutical measures used towards offenders and victims, knows domestic abuse law.
Skills: The student can recognise displays of domestic abuse, compare its different types. He or she analyses factors contributing to its occurrence, uses models explaining its genesis. The student draws conclusions about the domestic abuse based on the analysis of the relationship between the offender and the victim. He or she determines the criteria of choosing therapeutical measures towards the offender and the victim. The student uses knowledge of law in order to prevent domestic abuse.
Capacity: The student is cautious and responsible in formulating assessment concerning the occurrence of domestic abuse. He or she is engaged in constructive discussion about mechanisms of its conditioning, mechanisms and counter-measures. The student is aware of the complexity and difficulty of the domestic abuse phenomenon. He or she is striving to be objective in their assessment, is creative and open to teamwork.

Assessment criteria
Knowledge:
(2): The student does not possess knowledge about domestic abuse, does not know its conditioning, nor the mechanisms of its occurrence. He or she does not have information about the relationship between the offender and the victim, does not know domestic abuse law.
(3): The student has general knowledge about domestic abuse, identifies some of its types. He or she can identify its conditioning, however, cannot explain the mechanisms contributing to its occurrence. The student briefly describes the relationships between the offender and the victim. He or she identifies therapeutical measures. The student knows some of the laws used to counteract domestic abuse.
(4): The student had a correct knowledge of domestic abuse. He or she can identify its types, explains the mechanisms contributing to its occurrence. The student presents models explaining the phenomenon, taking into consideration the relationship between the offender and the victim. He or she describes the therapeutical measures, knows basic domestic abuse laws.
(5): The student has an excellent knowledge of domestic abuse. He or she possesses a lot of information about the biological, psychiatrical, environmental and interpersonal factors of the occurrence of domestic abuse. He or she characterises models of domestic abuse occurrence as well as countermeasures. The student takes the specificity of the relationship between the offender and the victim into consideration. The student explains the mechanisms of therapeutic measures towards the offenders and victims. He or she knows domestic abuse laws and situations in which they can be used.
Skills:
(2): The student cannot independently identify the indicators of domestic abuse, does not recognise its different types. He or she does not use the models explaining the causes of domestic abuse. The student does not know the criteria of therapeutic measures used towards the offender and the victim.
(3): The student does not always identify the indicators of domestic abuse, cannot identify its different types. He or she briefly verifies the factors contributing to the occurrence of domestic abuse, only sometimes uses the models explaining its genesis. The student identifies the need for therapeutical measures, but does not take into consideration the specificity of particular situations. He or she can identify domestic abuse laws used to counteract domestic abuse.
(4): The student correctly identifies the indicators of domestic abuse, compares the different types. He or she analyses majority of factors leading to the occurrence of domestic abuse, uses the models explaining its genesis. The student assesses the relationship between the offender and the victim. He or she identifies different criteria of therapeutic measures and offers their applications in different situations.
(5): The student can perfectly identify indicators of domestic abuse and compare the different types. He or she analyses the factors leading to its genesis, refers to the models explaining its genesis. The student draws conclusions basing them on the analysis of the relationship between the offender and the victim. He or she identifies different criteria of choosing therapeutic measures, can point to situations, in which domestic abuse countermeasure laws can be used.
Capacity:
(2): The student does not know the limitations of domestic abuse diagnosis. He or she draws conclusions hastily and irresponsibly. The student does not see the need for substantive discussion, bases his or her assessment on partial information.
(3): The student realises the limitations of the diagnostics, assessment and therapy, however, does not attempt to minimise them. He or she draws conclusions hastily, is not always ready for teamwork and consideration of other opinions.
(4): The student realises the limitations of domestic abuse analysis and takes them into consideration while making the assessment. He or she is aware of the multifactorial conditioning of domestic abuse. The student realises the importance of therapeutical measures, discusses domestic abuse law and its applications. He or she is open to teamwork.
(5): The student always approaches domestic abuse issues with caution and responsibility. He or she engages in constructive discussions about its conditioning and possible countermeasures. The student is aware of the importance of therapeutical measures for the offender and the victim. He or she is sensitive to harm done to the victim and is impartial towards the offender. The student is open to teamwork and factual polemics.
