The aim of the course is to present the legal basis for air protection.
It consists of the following issues. First of all, it is a concise introduction from air protection as an element of environmental protection. The second issue is to present the basic relationship between national and EU law in the area of Air protection. Drawing general regulations on air protection will allow to move to the next issue, ie to present the legal framework for selected instruments concerning air protection. The air protection program, so-called anti-smog resolution, planning acts with particular attention to local spatial development plans. In addition, legal regulations regarding emission permits will be discussed.
The discussion of each of the selected instruments will include the presentation of the legal character, the scope of the subject, the procedure for adopting and the legal effects of adoption. In the case of emission permits issued in the form of a decision - presentation of the legal basis of the permit and the characteristics of this instrument.
