Ad hoc and sensor networks WM-I-SDS
The purpose of lectures is to present a current state of the knowledge concerning of a novel quickly developing technology known as ad hoc and sensor networks (ASN), w particular wireless sensor networks (WSN). In the first part of lectures we will discuss computer-communication technologies having a great impact on developing of ASN, including cellular systems of mobile communication, Internet of Things, distributed systems cloud/fog/edge processing and issues of emerging field of Ambient Intelligence. In the second part of lectures architectures of both a single node and ASN networks will be presented. The issues of multiplexing and theoretical problems related to wireless communication will be considered. In the third part of lectures solutions concerning of communication protocols in WSN proposed either in a literature or implemented in real-time systems will be discussed.
