Industrial Automation Systems WM-I-S1-E5-Fa1aa
The lectures aim to present basics of programming the PLC and Control Systems.
Contained are the hardware construction, working with it to understand and create programs. Also discussed are the basics of Control Systems and their behaviour simulation.
Lab is dedicated to practically work with the topics discussed at the lectures. The students personally work-out and discuss the selected examples with their own written programs. Students' own work is presented, discussed and marked.

student:
W1 - knows and understands the physical basics of industrial control systems (I1_W16)
W2 - knows and understands various techniques used for industrial automation and PLC (I1_W16)
U1 - can use basic sequences in control systems (I1_U18)
U2 - can use interrupts and subroutines in PLC technology (I1_U18)
Assessment criteria
For all effects, the following assessment criteria are adopted for all forms of verification:
grade 5: fully achieved (no obvious shortcomings)
grade 4.5: achieved almost fully and criteria for awarding a higher grade are not met
grade 4: largely achieved and the criteria for a higher grade are not met
score 3.5: largely achieved - with a clear majority of positives - and the criteria for granting a higher grade are not met
grade 3: achieved for most of the cases covered by the verification and criteria for a higher grade are not met
grade 2: not achieved for most of the cases covered by the verification
