Learning outcomes
Student:
W1 - knows the theoretical foundations and applications of computer science and information technology in the subject of the master's thesis (I2_W01, I2_W02),
W2 - knows and understands the methodology of scientific research in the subject of the master's thesis (I2_W03),
U1 - can apply mathematical and technical knowledge to formulate, analyze and solve tasks related to the issues raised in the master's thesis (I2_U02),
U2 - can describe, design or implement a system, device or application in accordance with the substantive requirements for the work (I2_U09),
U3 - is able to perform a diploma thesis in accordance with the editorial requirements for master's theses (I2_U07),
U4 - can independently obtain information from literature and other sources, integrate them, interpret them, draw conclusions and formulate opinions (I2_U08, I2_U11),
U5 - can make a critical review of the literature by selecting sources (also in English) on their own in the field of the master's thesis (I2_U08, I2_U12),
K1 - is ready to discuss topics related to the subject of the master's thesis (I2_K01),
K2 - is ready to identify the limitations of the solutions used in the master's project (I2_K01),
K3- is ready to apply the principles of ethics and intellectual property protection when writing a master's thesis (I2_K03).
Assessment criteria
For all learning outcomes, the following assessment criteria are adopted for all forms of verification:
grade 5: fully achieved (no obvious shortcomings),
grade 4.5: achieved almost fully and criteria for awarding a higher grade are not met,
grade 4: largely achieved and the criteria for a higher grade are not met,
grade 3.5: largely achieved - with a clear majority of positives - and the criteria for granting a higher grade are not met,
grade 3: achieved for most of the cases covered by the verification and criteria for a higher grade are not met,
grade 2: not achieved for most of the cases covered by the verification.
