1. Factors related to the development of addiction.
(biological, social, psychological, cultural, spiritual).
2. Identification of people addicted to psychoactive substances and activities (clinical indicators, diagnostic tests, laboratory tests)
3. Addiction criteria according to the World Health Organization and the American Psychiatric Association (behavioral changes, subjective, psychobiological).
4. Selected diagnostic problems encountered in addicts
(double diagnosis, mood disorder, personality disorder, organic changes).
5. Models of helping addicts (psychological, social, medical, moral, self-help).
6. Basics of constructing individual programs to help addicts (in cognitive, behavioral, ecological psychology).
7. Helping a family with addiction problem (strategic communication model, ecological network, structural).
8. The role and importance of addiction prevention (providing information, coping with stress, developing interpersonal skills).
