1. Student is able to list and describe the major mental disorders of children and adolescents.
2. Student is able to define and describe the main symptoms of psychiatric disorders of children and adolescents.
3. Student can use the classifications of mental disorders of children and adolescents ICD-10 and DSM-5.
4. Student can name the causes of mental disorders of children and adolescents, describes the interaction of risk factors, define the concept of multifactorial etiology and pathogenesis.
5. Student is able to describe the prevalence, course and prognosis of major mental disorders of children and adolescents.
6. Student is able to describe the basic forms of effective psychological interventions in the treatment of mental disorders in children and adolescents.
Assessment criteria
1) the effect of education No. 1 as - student is able to name and describe the major mental disorders of children and adolescents;
- Grade 2: can not name the main groups of mental disorders in children and adolescents;
- Grade 3: can name the main groups of disorders, but can not name the types of disorders occurring within the major
groups (eg, types of anxiety disorders, vaguely describes the various mental disorders);
- Grade 4: can name particular mental disorders within the main groups, and slightly wrong in the description of them;
- Grade 5: well describes the various mental disorders.
2) the effect of education No. 2 as - Student is able to define and describe the main symptoms of psychiatric disorders of
children and adolescents.
- Grade 2: student is not able to define and name the symptoms of the main groups of disorders;
- Grade 3: student can names some of the symptoms, but can not define them;
- Grade 4:student names and defines most of the symptoms of minor errors;
- Grade 5: student lists and defines the symptoms of the disorder.
3) the effect of education No. 3 as - Student can use the classifications of mental disorders of children and adolescents ICD-10 and DSM-5.
- Grade 2: student can not use the classifications ICD-10 and DSM-IV TR.
- Grade 3: student gives a general description and the definitions of ICD-10 and DSM-5,
- Grade 4: student uses classification, place name the symptoms, but makes mistakes on the initial diagnosis of the disorder,
- Grade 5: student freely uses classification, is able to find descriptions of observed symptoms and make a preliminary
diagnosis of the disorder
4) the effect of education No. 4 Student can name the causes of mental disorders of children and adolescents, describes the interaction of risk
factors, define the concept of multifactorial etiology and pathogenesis.
- Grade 2: Student can not describe the main risk factors for mental disorders of children and adolescents;
- Grade 3: The student is able to list and describe the main risk factor is not able to describe their interactions;
- Grade 4: Student can describe risk factors and their interaction, commits minor mistakes in the description;
- Grade 5: Student can describe risk factors and their interaction, defines terms such as epigenetics, resilience,
susceptibility. He can give examples for mental disorders of children and adolescents.
5) the effect of education No. 5 as - Student is able to describe the prevalence and outcome of major mental disorders of
children and adolescents.
- Grade 2: Student is not able to describe the prevalence and outcome of discussed mental disorders of children and adolescents;
- Grade 3: Student is able to describe the outcome, it can describe the prevalence (or vice versa) discussed mental
disorders;
- Grade 4: Students can describe the outcome and prevalence of discussed mental disorders with minor errors;
- Grade 5: Student effectively describes the outcome and prevalence of discussed mental disorders of children and adolescents;
6) the effect of education No. 6 as - Student is able to list the basic forms of effective psychological interventions in the
treatment of mental disorders of adults.
- Grade 2: Student can not list the basic forms of psychological treatment in mental disorders;
- Grade 3: Student is able to list the basic forms of psychological treatment in mental disorders of children and adolescents, but can not find a
suitable method for a particular disorder;
- Grade 4: Student can list the basic forms of psychological treatment in mental disorders of adults, can choose the
appropriate method for a particular disorder, but it does minor errors in the description of its application;
- Grade 5: Student can list the basic forms of psychological treatments in mental disorders of adults, can select and describe
appropriate method for a particular disorder,
7) the effect of education No. 7 as - Student can name and describe the basic tools to assess mental status and mental
disorders, structured and semistructured interviews, questionnaires, symptom scales.
- Grade 2: student is not able to name and describe the basic tools for the assessment of mental illness and disorders;
- Grade 3: student can name and describe the basic tools to assess mental status and mental disorders;
- Grade 4: student can name and describe the basic tools for mental and psychiatric disorders, is able to select the right
tools for the assessment of the relevant disorders
- Grade 5: student can name and describe the basic tools for mental and psychiatric disorders, is able to select the right
tools for the assessment of the relevant mental disorders;
