KNOWLEDGE:
The student describes chemical safety in a system strategy.
The student identifies the conditions, structure and components of the decision-making process.
The student indicates practical issues in the context of the issues discussed.
SKILLS:
The student explains key chemical hazards in a systemic approach. The student justifies the decision-making process. The student analyzes the practical consequences of the issues discussed.
COMPETENCES:.
The student maintains a critical attitude in expressing opinions. The student is open to different approaches to the developed topic of chemical safety.
ECTS [1 ECTS = 30(25) hours]:
participation in exercises: 30 hours,
preparation of a paper: 15 hours,
preparation for a colloquium: 15 hours,
total hours: 60,
number of ECTS: 2
Assessment criteria
The final grade consists of: grade for the paper, active participation in classes ("pluses for activity"), grade for the final colloquium. Two unexcused absences are allowed. Verification - individual assessment of activity in classes. Requirements are cumulated in subsequent grade levels.
Knowledge:
Score 3 (sufficient): the student is able to explain what a systems approach is in the context of chemical safety, classifies the determinants of the decision-making process, finds it difficult to indicate practical issues.
Score 4 (good): the student lists the key components of a chemical safety strategy, discusses the determinants of this process, and analyzes specific cases.
Score 5 (very good): the student precisely characterizes chemical safety in a systems strategy, is able to indicate the effects of implementing a systems strategy on chemical safety.
Skills:
Score 3 (sufficient): the student sufficiently analyzes key issues in the context of chemical safety, proposes alternative practical solutions in the context of the issues discussed.
Score 4 (db): the student organizes the components of the strategy, analyzes the conditions of chemical safety, discusses the conditions of this process, analyzes specific cases, criticizes the practical consequences of the issues discussed.
Score 5 (bdb): the student assesses the extent to which the systems approach contributes to chemical safety, proposes actions or solutions consistent with the systems approach, designs a simple model of the chemical safety strategy for the selected model.
Competencies:
Score 3 (sufficient): the student is often critical in expressing opinions, is open to different approaches to the subject being developed,
Score 4 (db): the student is critical in expressing opinions, is open to different approaches to the subject being developed,
Score 5 (vdb): the student is critical in expressing opinions, is always open to different approaches to the subject being developed.
