Course contents:
1. Introduction into missions studies – missionary activity of Church, definition of missions studies and scientifics witch can help to explain activity of missions
2. Definition of missions and issues around the goal of mission
3. Proclamation and evangelization and salvation as the goal of mission
4. Chapter II, of the decree „Ad gentes” of Vatican II
5. Exhortation of Paul VI, „Evangelii nuntiandi”
6. Chosen themes of “Redemptoris Mission”
7. Evangelization in anotcher documents of the Magisterium, such as: “Rerum Ecclesiae”, “Fidei donum”, “Princeps pastorum”, “Africae terrarium”
8. Chosen themes of story of missions on the whole world
Assessments Methods:
Colloquium oral or written – after last class. Material covers problems discussed during lectures as well as texts pointed out to the self-reliant reading. A term paper is a condition of letting get to the colloquium (circa 5 standard pages - 9000 signs) on the theme established by lecturer - deadline: 8 of May 2010. Exceptions to establishing with lecturer at least a month earlier.
