Organisation and management (organizacja i zarządzanie) - course designed for Faculty of Journalism UKSW
Skrócony opis:
The course will introduce student to topics from wide range of disciplines encompassing modern management studies. Students will be familiarized with concepts from several specialised sciences like human resource management; strategic management; motivation and career counseling; management of finances; basics of marketing and brand management.
Course is focused on practical application of human resource management in staffing policies (recrutation and selection of employees, organisation of training courses and motivational programs) and company's financial management (including introduction to basic financial terminology like budget, balance sheet, assets and liabilities, starting capital, working capital, long term obligations, return over investment, amortisation).
Furthermore course will introduce student to issues regarding domestic labour market (including new phenomena on labour market like self-employment, unpaid employment – volunteeering, temporary employment and unreported employment), globalisation and issues of foreign investment, public relations and effective communication and cooperation within company.

2 (ndst) - do not know the basic concepts of knowledge management and organization,
3 (dst) - knows the key concepts in the field of knowledge management and organization,
4 (db) - is an in-depth knowledge of the science of organization and management,
5 (bdb) - is an in-depth knowledge of the science of organization and management, is able to identify and place in the system of science and methodological links with other sciences.
WT-DKS-DMZ_W02:
3 (ndst) - does not have knowledge of the concepts related to communication, marketing and public relations in the context of using it, in fact, the media and the world of culture, as well as the image of the institution management, project management, brand, product, managing crisis, information, image and visual identification of the company.
3 (dst) - have a basic knowledge of concepts related to communication, marketing and public relations in the context of using it, in fact, the media and the world of culture, as well as the image of the institution management, project management, brand, product, managing crisis, information, image and visual identification of the company.
4 (db) - has in-depth knowledge of the concepts related to communication, marketing and public relations in the context of using it, in fact, the media and the world of culture, as well as a basic knowledge of the management of the image of the institution, designs, brand, product, managing crisis, information, image and corporate identity of the company.
