Methods of assessment:
The basis of the study of poetics is reading theoretical dissertations and the student's analytical and interpreting work on chosen literary texts from the point of view of undertaken theoretical issues. The student is obliged to know solid theoretical and literary reading texts confirmed by active participation in classes and positive results of tests. Another condition of receiving credit is full class attedance (the absence can be justified only on the basis of a submitted sick note or another document). During the semester there is one written test announced earlier and it is based on topics done at the classes; the form and date of the test are agreed with students during the classes.
