History of Polish Literature: Middle Ages - Renaissance - Baroque WH-FP-C-HPLD.1
Course content:
The basic content of the classes is the common reading of the sources which are relevant and specific for different periods of literary history (respectively: Medieval Ages, Renaissance, Baroque) combined with considerations supported with the recommended theoretical studies, covering different methodological schools, and with elements of the lecture. Details of the thematic scope of the meetings is contained in the reading list.
Methods ofassessment:
Credit is received on the basis of:
1) Attendance during the classes. Only two unexcused absences are allowed in a semester; all others must be made up during the office hours of the academic teacher.;
2) Annual paper (deadline for submission of the paper is two weeks before Easter; the topics are given to the students by the leading academic teacher).
IMPORTANT: Evaluation of the annual work is not a final assessment mark.
3) Credit for two tests per semester. Another important factor affecting the final assessment: the active participation in the classes.
