Assessment: Assessment will receive students will complete two unannounced kartkówki carried out during the lecture and includes exercises. On exercises, students will analyze specific parts of the texts referred to philosophers of science.
The final allocation of the verbal content of the lecture and required reading analyzed during the exercise.

Philosophy of Science
Knowledge: EK_1 The student knows the idea of the discipline of the philosophy of science and how it developed, EK_2 knows its main trends and practical paradigms and its representatives. EK_3 The student knows the rules of interpreting texts devoted to the philosophy of science. He knows the subjects and methodological specificity of the philosophy of science. (K_W02)
Skills: EK_4 The student reads and interprets philosophical texts devoted to science, EK_5 The student listens to oral presentations of ideas and philosophical arguments comprehensively, EK_6 is able to assess their cognitive value. EK_7 knows how to justify the possibility of dealing with the philosophy of science. He precisely formulates complex problems in the field of philosophy of science both in speech and writing, he creates theses and comments on them critically, (K_U10) and recognizes the complex relationship between the philosophy of science and progress in the life sciences so dynamically developing in our culture (K-U17)
Competence: EK_8 is open to the possibility of a rational interpretation of the phenomenon of science, knows the scope of his knowledge and is aware of the necessity to continue further training in the field of the philosophy of science. (K_K01).
