History of Missions in Africa and America WT-SSTA-HOMI
Course level: Elementary.
Objectives of the course: The purpose of the lecture is to familiarize students with examples from the history of the Church's missionary activities in Africa and America. Because of their special importance, we will look more extensively at missions in Africa in antiquity, in the 16th century and in the 19th century. In America, we will pay special attention to the idea of missionary "reductions" and the role of music in evangelization.

STL_W06: has in-depth knowledge of the contemporary teaching of the Catholic Church in biblical, systematic, and practical theology.
Assessment criteria
Activity in class, mid-term work, final exam.
