History of Missions in Asia WT-SSTA-HOM
Level of course: Basic.
Goal: Goal of the course is the general presentation of the history of missionary activity of the Church in Asia and Oceania. We will consecrate more time to the work of Polish missionaries. Because of their significance, we will spent more time on missions in Central Asia, India, China, Japan, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, where many Polish missionaries has been working.

STL_W01: has in-depth knowledge of the subject and methodological specificity of theology, especially in the area of the theological specialty studied; is able to develop this knowledge and creatively apply it in educational and environmental activities;
STL_W02: knows basic biblical and theological terminology and its Greek-Latin roots;
STL_W03: has a structured and in-depth knowledge, including the theories and methods of the theological specialization studied;
STL_W04: has in-depth knowledge of contemporary achievements, centers, and research schools in theology;
STL_W06: has in-depth knowledge of the contemporary teaching of the Catholic Church in biblical, systematic, and practical theology.
