Catechesis of teenagers WT-SSTA-COT
The aim of the classes is to familiarize the student with issues related to catechesis for young people (adolescents/teenagers): what it is, its purpose, its tasks, its content and methods. The student has the opportunity to become familiar with the specifics of working with a young Christian, studies what preparation for the sacrament of confirmation involves, as well as preparation for Christian adulthood and taking responsibility for the development of one's own faith and that of the people entrusted to him (also undertaking a mission, evangelisation and witnessing of faith). The following specific issues are taken up:
1. Catechesis and religious education of young people
2. Purpose and tasks of youth catechesis
3. Content covered during youth catechesis.
4. Methods (forms) of working with youth
5. Developmental conditions of young people.
6. "Rites of Passage"
7. The sacrament of confirmation
8. Youth living environment
9. A new civilization challenge for work with youth
10. Problems in working with youth.

Assessment criteria
very good (5): the student can freely talk about educational work with young people (W1, W2, K1, U2) and prepare classes for them (U1, K1, W1, K2).
good+ (4.5): the student understands the importance of educational and catechetical work with young people (W1, W2, K1), prepares an outline for catechesis (U1, K1, K2), but needs support in some issues.
good (4): the student understands the importance of educational and catechetical work with young people (W1, W2, K1), prepares an outline for catechesis (U1, K1, K2), but needs support in important issues.
sufficient+ (3.5): the student understands the importance of educational and catechetical work with young people (W1, W2, K1), but has problems with preparing an appropriate lesson plan.
sufficient (3): the student starts a conversation about youth catechesis (W1, W2), but does not distinguish the specificity of work with youth from the catechesis of children or adults.
insufficient (2): the student does not discuss catechetical work with young people.
