Learning outcomes
1.Knowledge
The student lists the definition of culture and the definition of catechesis. Names the relationship between catechesis and culture. Characterises the process of inculturation. Describes the requirements for the inculturation process.
2 Skills:
The student analyses the concept of catechesis and culture. Compares different approaches to culture. Draws conclusions from the interrelationship of catechesis and culture. Demonstrates that catechesis framed in the process of inculturation is more effective.
3.Competences:
The student recognises the need to include culture in catechesis. Creates appropriate scenarios for catechesis included in the process of inculturation. Prepares appropriate handouts of catechesis thus understood, depending on the addressees.
ECTS Description:
participation in lecture: 30 hrs.
1. in terms of knowledge:
Student's own work: 20 hrs.
consultations with the lecturer: 10 hrs.
Total: 60 hrs = 3 ECTS
Assessment criteria
Evaluation non-sufficient: the student is not able to determine the nature of catechesis included in the process of inculturation.
Evaluation satisfactory: the student is able to characterise catechesis and inculturation.
Evaluation good: the student gives both the characteristics of catechesis included in the process of inculturation and its conditions.
Evaluation very good: the student fully characterises contemporary culture. He/she is able to give the characteristics of catechesis in the perspective of the process of inculturation, characterising its conditions.
