Learning outcomes
Students will familiarize with the dogmatic teaching of the Church concerning the mystery of the Incarnation of the Son of God and Redemption. In the first part – Christological – they will internalize biblical testimonies concerning the mystery of the Incarnation, and then the development of the Christological dogma through the ages (i.e. the main Christological heresies and resolutions of the councils). The outcome of the first part will be the ability to look at the mystery of Christ in the contemporary theology and in other denominations and religions of the world. In the second part – soteriological – students will familiarize with the biblical teaching on salvation, also they will internalize various soteriological models, universalism and personalism of salvation and the triumphant stage of Redemption, that is the last Christological articles of the Creed.
