Missiology WT-R-MISO
The Doctoral Seminar on Missionary Science mainly deals with – but not exclusively – various aspects of missionary activity in Africa (missionaries and development aid, liberation, commitment to society, establishment of communities, attitude to local cultures, native religions, other Churches, inculturation issues) the life of the local Church and traditional religions and local theology. It also addresses the problems of mission theology, interreligious dialogue and human promotion. The works are often based on field research, materials from church archives and on correspondence of Polish missionaries, published in missionary journals and submitted in archives. Learning about the spirit of the era, the main trends in mission theology and cultural anthropology, the seminary participants simultaneously prepare master's and doctoral thesis in the field of seminary. This work is discussed and analysed on selected exercises.

Didactic method
Teaching with the active participation of doctoral students who independently develop some of the topics raised at the seminar and then present their studies in the form of a presentation, paper or yet another way, and then take an active part in the discussion of the issue with knowledge.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment of self-presented studies, activity in the discussion on a given issue and demonstrating in the studies and discussions presented the knowledge and independence of thinking.
