Assessment criteria
Effect of education 1. The student characterizes the principal areas of research in the catechesis:
- for mark D (fail): he isn't able to indicate the main sections of the catechesis;
- for mark C (pass): he is able to discuss correctly the main sections of the catechesis;
- for mark B (pass): he precisely characterises the main sections of the catechesis;
- for mark A (pass): he precisely characterises the main sections of the catechesis and indicates the main catechetical treatises and treaties of its particular sections.
Effect of education 2. The student discusses the main models of treatises in the catechesis:
- for mark D (fail): he isn't able to indicate according to which model the thesis was written;
- for mark C (pass): he is able to indicate according to which model the thesis was written;
- for mark B (pass): he introduces the main assumptions of the various models of scientific
treatises;
- for mark A (pass): he introduces the main assumptions of the various models of scientific treaties and methodology required in a particular type of treatises.
Effect of education 3. A student knows the scientific specificity of the catechesis:
- for mark D (fail): he is not able to define the catechesis;
- for mark C (pass): he correctly defines the catechesis;
- for mark B (pass): he precisely presents connections among the catechesis and other
theological disciplines;
- for mark A (pass): he precisely presents connections among the catechesis and other
theological disciplines inter alia, pedagogy, psychology, sociology, history, philosophy and
anthropology.
Effect of education 4. The student selects appropriate scientific methods to the specified type of the treatises:
- for mark D (fail): he isn't able to indicate any scientific methods used in treatises;
- for mark C (pass): he is able to define few scientific methods used in treatises;
- for mark B (pass): he correctly identifies the methods to the particular type of treatises;
- for mark A (pass): he precisely identifies the methods to the particular type of treatises and
characterizes them correctly.
Effect of education 5. The student presents main theological periodicals published in Poland:
- for mark D (fail): he isn't able to specify any titles of Polish theological periodicals;
- for mark C (pass): he is able to indicate few titles of Polish theological periodicals;
- for mark B (pass): he characterizes various titles of Polish theological periodicals;
-for mark A (pass): he precisely characterizes various titles of Polish theological periodicals
and identifies them with particular scientific groups and communities.
Effect of education 6. The student specifies popular scientific periodicals and science journals in the catechetical field:
- for mark D (fail): he isn't able to indicate any titles of Polish periodicals in the catechetical
field;
- for mark C (pass): he is able to indicate few titles of Polish periodicals in the catechetical
field;
- for mark B (pass): he characterizes scientific profile of Polish periodicals in the catechetical
field;
- for mark A (pass): he characterizes scientific profile of Polish periodicals in the catechetical field and he is able to indicate some catechetical, international publishing houses.
Effect of education 7. The student prepares the outline of the thesis:
- for mark D (fail): he isn't able to characterize the rules of writing the outline of the thesis;
- for mark C (pass): he indicates the principles of drafting the outline of the thesis;
- for mark B (pass): he can divide the thesis into chapters and subsections;
- for evaluation A (pass): he can divide the thesis into chapters and subsections, and assess the
example of thesis with the improper outline.
Effect of education 8. The student knows the principles of correct linguistic spelling in scientific work:
- for mark D (fail): he isn't able to indicate sources of correct linguistic spelling applicable in treatises;
- for mark C (pass): he indicates sources of correct linguistic spelling applicable in treatises;
- for mark B (pass): he indicates sources of correct linguistic spelling applicable in treatises
and he is able to use them;
- for mark A (pass): he indicates sources of correct linguistic spelling applicable in treatises, he is able to use them and indicates mistakes present in different theological treatises.
Effect of education 9. The student prepares the bibliography and knows how to annotate in the thesis:
- for mark D (pass): he isn't able to indicate rules of annotating;
- for mark C (pass): he is able to indicate rules of annotating;
- for evaluation 4 (B.): he is able to indicate the rules of preparing the bibliography and annotating in the thesis:
- for mark A (pass): he is able to indicate the rules of preparing the bibliography and annotating in the thesis and master these abilities.
Effect of education 10. The student introduces the subject and the research problem of the thesis and indicates new aspects of his research:
- for mark D (fail): he isn't able to define the main problem of the research to be developed;
- for mark C (pass): he defines the main problem of the research to be developed;
- for mark B (pass): he defines the main problem of the research to be developed and specifies
the subject of the thesis;
-for mark A (pass): he defines the main problem of the research to be developed and specifies the subject of the thesis, he identifies new aspects of the research problem.
The final mark is the result of:
- active participation in practical lectures (60%);
- mastering the skills in writing the thesis;
- activity and efficiency in writing.
