Philosophy of Religion WT-DTE-SF
Seminary attempts to broaden the knowledge related to the research and preparation of the doctoral thesis. Brooding the knowledge, scholarly workshop and abilities is reached through discussion on the results of researches presented by the students; reading and discussions on key source texts.

KNOWLEDGE: Student has a knowledge on methods of research and argumentative procedures which are used on the field of philosophy and theology. He knows the methods and rules of interpretations of source texts. He know how to find a literature on given topic. He can differ the theological and philosophical topics in source texts. Knows the complexity of relations between faith and reason.
ABILITIES: Student can organize scholarly work; sequent phases of research; quarrel, gathering the materials, analysis of data, writing, consultations. Knows how to use language and technical tools. Has the ability of writing a dissertation, is aware of his own premisses and draw conclusions. Knows how to present the topic in preface and to summarize it in conclusion.
Student can use his theological and philosophical knowledge to construct an argumentation, find the proper premises and draw correct conclusions. Can differ between premises given by reason and faith. He can present this reasoning clearly in oral and written way. Can discover the relations between thesis and estimate the level of their importance.
SOCIAL COMPETENCES: Student understands, that he has only a partial knowledge on given subject and does not exceed his competences in his claims. He understands the need of permanent study and self-development. Preparation of master/doctoral thesis makes him capable of leading his own project finding the end and means. He is responsible in relation to his co-workers, and can see and solve problems in interpersonal relations in social life.
Assessment criteria
Conditions of passing the seminary are individual for each of the student. At each semester student makes a presentation of the results of his research (one presentation for semester).
