Subject in the field of humanities - Culture and society 5.0 WT-DKS-P-PNH
The classes deal with the analysis and criticism of texts related to the problems of culture and social change defined by technological measures and philosophical, anthropological and ethical influences, which would serve as preparation for competent functioning in and expressing oneself about social space. The class is expected to conclude with the acquisition of analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as drawing conclusions and predicting the direction of cultural trends on the basis of knowledge of cultural texts and intertextuality.

EK 1 - knows and understands the basic principles and methods of analysing and interpreting the various kinds of cultural productions revealed in the world of new media
EK 2 - knows how to recognise and then carry out a critical analysis and interpretation of various kinds of cultural products manifested in the world of new media in order to determine their meanings, social impact and place in the historical-cultural process;
EK 3 - is convinced of the sense, value and need of undertaking journalistic activities in the social environment; is ready to undertake professional challenges; is active, undertakes effort and is characterised by perseverance in the implementation of individual and team professional activities in the field of journalism in the world of new media.
Assessment criteria
Method of verification of learning outcomes: 4 mini-essay papers in the form of an essay and 1 final paper in the form of an essay.
The prerequisite for passing the course is the achievement of all the assumed learning outcomes. A positive mark in the course is determined by the number of points obtained from:
