Journalistic sources of information WT-DKS-P-DZ

EK- learning outcome
EK no. 1: has knowledge about the process of communication of individuals and institutions with the internal and external environment
EK no.2: student can create basic journalistic forms;
EK no.3: knows, recognizes and can use basic journalistic genres adequate to the needs;
EK no 4: can select acquired information and construct (on their basis) short informative forms (oral and written),
EK no. 5: uses adequate tools and theoretical knowledge to independently search for and verify information and to use it properly.

Justification of the ECTS amount awarded:
participation in classes -30 hours.
time devoted to homework and preparation for tests - 10 hours.
preparing an academic presentation - 15 hours.
consultations with the teacher - 5 hours.
total - 60 hours = 2 ECTS

EK no 1: has knowledge about the process of communication of people and institutions with the internal and external environment;
conducted with the use of informative lecture and talk, and - at later stages of work - with the use of classic problem method;

evaluation 2: has no knowledge of communication processes of individuals and institutions
grading 3: has basic knowledge concerning the process of communication of individuals and institutions
evaluation 4: has knowledge of the process of communication of individuals and institutions, knows how to find or apply solutions to communication problems
Evaluation 5: has knowledge of the process of communication of individuals and institutions, knows how to find and apply solutions to communication problems.

EK pt. 2: students can create basic journalistic forms and take care of linguistic correctness of their texts and statements;
The course is realized with the use of practical methods - independent work with text and source materials;
for the mark 2: students cannot create basic journalistic forms or do not care about the linguistic correctness of their texts
for the mark 3: students can create basic, simple journalistic forms; they take care of the linguistic correctness of their texts
for the grade 4: students can correctly create basic journalistic forms; they take care of the linguistic correctness of their texts
for the grade 5: students can correctly create journalistic forms; they take care of linguistic correctness of their texts.

EK pt. 3: knows the rules of creating, recognizes and knows how to use basic journalistic genres adequate to the needs;
conducted with the use of situational method and activating methods, i.e. the method of individual cases;
A grade 2: the student does not know, does not recognize or cannot use basic journalistic genres adequate to the needs;
ocenę 3: student knows, recognizes and knows how to use basic, simplest journalistic genres, selects them adequately to his/her needs;
A grade 4: a student knows the principles of creation, recognizes and knows how to use basic journalistic genres, selects them adequately to the needs;
EC assessment 5: student knows rules of creation, recognizes and knows how to use all journalistic genres, selects them adequately to his needs.

EK pt. 4: can select acquired information and construct (on their basis) short informative forms (oral and written),
The course is realized with the use of problematic (e.g. brainstorming) and practical methods (individual and group work with source materials);
for the mark 2: he/she is unable to select the information acquired or to construct (on its basis) short informative forms;
for the mark 3: they will be able to select simple pieces of information or construct short informative texts on the basis of them
for 4: can select information independently and construct informative texts on the basis of it
eek 5: can independently search for information and select it, as well as construct on its basis informative texts

EK no. 5: uses adequate tools and theoretical knowledge to search for and verify information independently and to use it properly;
The course is implemented using practical methods, e.g. group project method;
for 2: does not use adequate tools or theoretical knowledge to search for and verify information on his/her own, or uses them inappropriately;
for the assessment of 3: uses adequate tools and theoretical knowledge to independently search for and verify information, but their range is not extensive - does not use all the available tools or does not have all the necessary knowledge; usually makes good use of acquired information
for assessment 4: uses adequate tools and theoretical knowledge to independently search for and verify information - has a sufficient range of tools, as well as the necessary knowledge; mostly makes good use of information gained
for assessment 5: uses adequate tools and theoretical knowledge to independently search for and verify information - has an extensive range of tools as well as the necessary knowledge; always uses the information appropriately
