Selected bioethical issues WSR-NRN-2-WZB
The lecture is a continuation of the classes (bachelor's degree) conducted under the title: basics of bioethics. It goes, among others o answer to the question whether what is technologically possible is also ethically allowed when such issues as: the concept of death and dying, euthanasia, clinical death, coma, aging of man and society, but also: food safety . responsibility for human health, etc.
The knowledge gained in this field should be used in work for the social good, secured primarily within such a community as the family, and more specifically in the process of social, democratic justification of the protection of its dignity and rights, understood in the spirit of the Catholic tradition. This is to help in gaining adequate social competences. It goes, among others o awareness of the need to have and constantly deepen the ethical (normative) justifications as to the biotechnological and civil-legal interference in human life carried out in medicine or in other fields of social life.
