Learning outcomes and competence:
K_W01. Student has a knowledge about history of migration in the world and Europe.
K_W02. Student knows the legal acts of UN and the European Union concerning migration (Geneva Convention, Schengen and Dublin regulations, Eurodac, etc.).
K_W03. Student has knowledge about immigration policy in selected EU countries.
K_W04. Student knows the difference between migrant and refugee.
K_W05. Student has knowledge about the present influx of migrants, countries of origin, their culture and religion.
K_U01. Student is able to explain the increasing negative attitudes of society towards immigrants in Europe.
K_U02. Student can describe the process of social integration through education.
K_U03. Student knows how to link the process of social integration with the labor market.

Assessment criteria
In order to pass this course your work will be regularly reviewed during the semester and need to be given a positive assessment of two written tests (which take place during the course).
