Geopolitical Economy of Poland WSE-EK-MON-GEP
Relations between geopolitics and economics occur in the area of using limited resources. As part of the competition for these resources, economic issues meet with issues taken up in geopolitical analyses. The economy became a key, game-changing resource in the competition between states as Europe embarked on a rapid development path towards the end of the Middle Ages. In the economy assessed through the prism of geopolitics, the key actors are states. Each country has a different role in the context of geoeconomic competition, in which development potential has been the main resource for several hundred years. The subject includes the analysis of global business strategies from a marketing perspective, in the relationship between institutions, organizations or companies and the market. Events of recent years related to the pandemic crisis and war, and as a consequence of these events the inflation crisis and the change in the perception of energy security by European countries, the role of Poland in the geopolitical system has changed and has become more significant.
