student knows basic economic concepts and theories, is able to analyze economic data using them, knows and understands modern socio-economic processes, in particular, Polish transformation and the global crisis, knows and understands the basics of the social doctrine of the Church, understands basic ethical issues related to the economy, can analyze and interpret statements from the scope of economic policy, diagnoses and economic forecasts.
Assessment criteria
The student has a choice of three credit’s forms for the course
• oral exam: basic knowledge of material - dst; full knowledge and understanding of the material elements - db; full knowledge of the material, advanced unaderstanding - very good; independent and creative understanding and full knowledge of the required material - very good plus
• translation 20-25 pages English, French, German or Russian text opositions (Attention! Only for students who have left no more than one lecture per semester): full, with understanding, in a very good Polish language translation - very good; as above, but with a few shortcomings - db; accurate translation of the deficiencies of understanding was thoroughly - dst. Attention:Written and electronic version: not later than one month before last lecture!
• presentation on a given topic in the field of the object (power point), volume approx. 50 frames. Attention! Only for students who have left no more than one lecture per semester; work done with full understanding, informative - very good; work done with an understanding of not less than 75% of the material, honestly - db; work done with the understanding approx. 50 - 74% of the material, basically fair - dst. Attention:electronic version: not later than one month before last lecture!
