Financial analysis of the company WS-EKN-AFwP
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the subject and scope of financial analysis in the company including financial analysis and economic and technical analysis, indicator analysis, methods used in financial analysis in an enterprise, static and dynamic evaluation of investment projects. The scope of financial analysis in the company includes preliminary analysis of basic financial statements and the assessment of profitability, liquidity, debt and business performance, and factors shaping the financial result, ie analysis and assessment of revenues and costs of operations. Economic analysis analyzes and analyzes the management of fixed assets, human resources, stocks. In addition, students will learn the principles of auditing and reporting.
In addition, students will learn the following:
- The composition and principles of carrying out financial analysis in an enterprise.
- Knowledge of reading and assessment of balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow.
- Optimization of capital structure.
- Financial resources and operating ability of companies.

Assessment criteria
Prerequisite for passing the course and obtaining the final grade is a positive assessment from the exercises and the exam
98-100 points from the exercises slows down from the exam and gives you the right to final grade 5.0
93-97 points from the exercises frees from the exam and gives you the right to final grade 4.5
83-92 points from the exercises are exempt from the exam and give you the right to final grade 4.0
In any other case, the exam grade is the final grade.
Practical placement
During the traineeship, the student should use the knowledge of the subject matter. The type of business entity and institution, the scope of duties, the activities carried out, the tasks entrusted to the student for performance during the apprenticeship should be correlated in key issues with the subject matter.
