Environmental Protection Law WP-PRZ-POS
Assumptions:
Environmental protection is one of the principal task of the state conditioning its proper economic and social development (sustainable development). In the legal dimension, they consist of international, EU and national law regulations.
The following general issues will be discussed during the lecture:
- place of environmental law in the legal system
- sources of environmental law
- principles of environmental law
- the principle of sustainable development
and other issues that allow you to move freely in the legal issues of environmental protection:
- social participation in environmental protection
- access to information about the environment
- legal protection of environmental components
- legal instruments for environmental protection
- responsibility and judicial protection in environmental protection
- management by the administration of environmental matters

at the assessment 2: he/she does not know and does not understand the nature and meaning of environmental protection law and its sources in comparison with other fields of legal regulation, as well as the way of defining terms and institutions characteristic for this law
A grade 3, 3.5: at the basic level he/she knows and understands the nature and significance of environmental protection law and its sources as compared to other fields of legal regulations, as well as the way of defining terms and institutions characteristic for this law.
A satisfactory knowledge and understanding of the nature and significance of environmental law and its sources in comparison to other fields of legal regulations, as well as the way of defining terms and institutions specific to this law.
A5: Very good knowledge and understanding of the nature and significance of environmental law and its sources in comparison to other fields of legal regulations, as well as the way of defining terms and institutions specific to this law.
PR_W04, PR_W06:
at the assessment 2: does not know and does not understand the construction of institutions and legal relations of the environmental law and their place in the background of the relevant constructions of other branches of law

At grades 3, 3,5: he/she knows and understands the system, mode of operation and competences of environmental protection authorities in Poland to a basic degree, and is able to determine mutual relations between them.
A grade 4, 4,5: good knowledge and understanding of the system, operation and competences of environmental protection authorities in Poland and ability to determine interrelations between them
A5: A very good knowledge and understanding of the system, operation and competences of environmental protection authorities in Poland and knows how to determine interrelations between them.

at grade 2: does not know and does not understand the legal and factual determinants of the creation and application of environmental law as an instrument for achieving specific values

at grade 4, 4,5: good knowledge and understanding of legal and factual conditions of creation and application of environmental protection law as an instrument for achieving specific values
at grade 5: very well knows and understands the legal and factual determinants of the creation and application of environmental law as an instrument for achieving specific values
PR_U06:
at the assessment of 2: is not able to choose the appropriate procedures to settle environmental protection cases
at assessment 3, 3.5: to a basic degree, he/she is able to select appropriate procedures to solve environmental protection issues
