Case study in Polish Civil Procedure WP-PR-MON-CSwPS
During the lecture, which is in fact a workshop and a case study (CASE STUDY), students will become familiar with the methodology of an attorney at law and a judge in civil cases.
The classes focus on the development of practical skills, such as: talking to clients, presenting possible solutions, analysing a case on the basis of the SWOT method, risk assessment, or presenting a strategy for handling a civil case.
During the workshops we deal with the methodology of drafting letters in civil cases, we learn about ADR methods, including mediation. Students present possible solutions and thus scenarios for conducting a case from the perspective of the client and the opponent, they draft questions for witnesses, create theses for evidence in pleadings, learn how to appear in court, and are taught methods for coping with stress during a trial.
The tutor, who is also a lawyer and mediator, has knowledge in the field of attorney and mediator work methodology, which he shares with the students.
The workshop also involves working on real court decisions and the possibility of creating appeals after analysing justifications for judgments issued by civil courts.
The interactive character of the classes gives everyone a chance to express their opinions through mutual exchange of experiences. CASE STUDY in Civil Proceedings is an offer for those who already have experience in working in a law firm, but also, and perhaps most importantly, for those who are just beginning their adventure with the profession.
