Workshop on drafting pleadings in civil proceedings WP-MON-WSPPwPC
During the lecture, which is de facto a workshop and a case study (CASE STUDY), students learn about the methodology of a trial attorney and a judge in civil cases, but the emphasis is on drafting pleadings. The pleading workshop is either an introduction to, or complementary to the Case Study in Civil Procedure lecture. This means that within the framework of the workshop, the student learns the secrets of proper drafting of pleadings.
The classes focus on the development of practical skills, such as drafting pleadings in procedural and non-procedural proceedings.
During the workshops we deal with the methodology of drafting pleadings in civil cases, we learn about ADR methods, including mediation. Students create theses of evidence for pleadings.
The instructor, who is also a lawyer and mediator, has knowledge in the methodology of an attorney and mediator's work, which he shares with the students.
The workshop also involves working on real court decisions and the possibility of creating appeals after analysing justifications for judgments issued by civil courts.
The interactive character of the classes gives everyone a chance to express their opinions through mutual exchange of experiences. The workshop on drafting pleadings in civil proceedings is an offer not only for those who already have experience in working in a law firm, but also, and perhaps above all, for those who are just about to embark on their adventure with the profession. The workshop is an ideal complement to the Case Study in Civil Procedure lecture.
