The lecture will present key issues from selected issues of international human rights law, namely
1. Leading steps in the process of internationalizing and protecting human rights and fundamental freedoms
2. Specificity of the source of international human rights law
3. the principles of a universal concept of human rights and fundamental freedoms and their protection
4.The normative structure of human rights and fundamental freedoms under international human rights law
5. The nature and types of obligations of a state under international human rights law
6. The typology and specificity of international human rights law mechanisms for the exercise of states' obligation to ensure the exercise of rights and fundamental freedoms
7-8 The principles and mechanisms of international human rights law on non-discrimination and vulnerability;
9-10. the principles and mechanisms of international human rights law on freedom, peace and security
11. the principles and mechanisms of international human rights law on the right to health protection
12. Assumptions and mechanisms of international human rights law on the rights of the child
13. The principles and mechanisms of international human rights law on women's rights
14. The principles and mechanisms of international human rights law on the rights of persons with disabilities
15. the principles and mechanisms of international human rights law on the rights of persons in migration.

After completing the course the student:
PR_W02: knows the sources and nature of the norms of international human rights law, in historical and contemporary terms;
PR_U02 can use theoretical knowledge of international human rights law to identify, analyze and resolve specific legal issues;
PR_U07 can design and create written work in English on international human rights law, including letters process and analyzing and interpreting specific issues legal, dogmatic, comparative, or historical;
PR_U08 is able to draw up a basic draft of a normative act and an act for the application of international human rights law, making use of modern information technology where necessary;
PR_K01, supplementing and improving its knowledge of the institutions and norms of international human rights law, including following developments in normative acts, judicial decisions, and doctrine, and is prepared to undertake third level (doctoral) studies
PR_K02, correctly identifies and resolves dilemmas arising from international human rights law with regard to the legal professions
PR_K03 works in a group, cooperates and assumes various roles, and participates in the preparation of social projects, including legal, economic and political aspects.
