Sociology of Social Changes WNP-PE-SZS
Sociology of Social Changes is a lecture for advanced students of the last year, who have finished courses of sociology in general, and also such subdisciplines like: sociology of the family, sociology of education and work.
The aim of this course is to introduce students in the field of new subdiscipline, using P. Sztompka's "Sociology of Social Changes".
The next one is to analyse some theories, like: Giddens, Castells and Beck, who try to explain the mechanisms of social changes in contemporary world of the new age - global, postindustrial, digital, multicultural.
The final goal is also to analyse the process of social change in Poland, both socioeconomical, mental and cultural, just to understand the changing context of education.
