BA Seminar: Environmental law WF-OB-SLPOS
The seminar in environmental law is an introduction to the methodology of scientific work including legal issues related to environmental protection. The issues discussed during the classes are intended to familiarize the participants of the seminar with possible research issues of the bachelor's theses.

Knowledge:
The student knows the basic concepts and principles of environmental law; understands the relationship between the environment, human health and legal and economic conditions; has knowledge of the legal organization of nature protection and environmental protection; knows the basic categories and terminology in this field; is able to present the position of the authors of the texts discussed during the seminar, is oriented in the methodology of scientific work.
Skills:
The student is able to organize a work workshop: collect and analyze the material needed to write a BA thesis, make contact in the matter of obtaining the necessary information, use the source materials in Polish and English; uses the computer to the extent necessary to search for information, performs critical assessments of the data obtained; can prepare a coherent scientific text.
competence:
The student knows the scope of acquired interdisciplinary knowledge and skills, especially in the field of environmental law; understands the need for further training and professional development as well as continuous improvement of language skills; can read and understand general and specialist texts on legal protection of nature and the environment; shows caution and criticism when analyzing scientific texts, Internet data and information from mass media.

1. The student has no knowledge of legal issues covered by the thesis subject.
2. The student does not recognize or explain the influence of legal norms on social relations analyzed in the thesis.

3. The student can not collect the source material or analyze it using appropriate research methods.
4. The student is not able to identify or resolve problems in the implementation of tasks and objectives of public administration covered by the thematic scope of the diploma thesis.
C.
5. The student does not understand the need for further education and professional development as well as for the continuous improvement of language skills; poorly reading and understanding general and specialist texts on legal protection of nature and the environment; does not show caution and criticism when analyzing scientific texts, Internet data and information from mass media.
