Introducing students to basic definitions, concepts and issues in the field of philosophy. The aim of the course is to familiarize the student with the specificity of philosophical thinking, methods and philosophical language. For given classes, each student prepares a written report on a predetermined topic from the given reading, presents it orally in class, explains the most important issues, or answers questions posed by the lecturer or participants. During the classes, the student should explain any ambiguities, demonstrating understanding of the prepared content. |
