Knowledge:
IS2_W07 - Student knows the basic methods, techniques, tools and materials used to solve complex engineering tasks in the field of environmental engineering, including the design of installations, networks and selected equipment.
IS2_W08 - Student has the broad knowledge necessary to understand the social, economic, legal and other non-technical conditions of engineering activities and to understand them in engineering practice.
Skills:
IS2_U03 - Student has the ability to self-study.
IS2_U04 - Student can prepare well-documented development of specific environmental engineering problems.
IS2_U20 - Student is able to identify and formulate the specification of complex engineering tasks related to environmental engineering and interdisciplinary research activities.
Competence:
IS2_K02 - Student is aware of the importance and understands the non-technical aspects and effects of engineering activities, including its environmental impact, and the resulting responsibility for its decisions.
IS2_K04 - Student is able determine the priorities for realization of his/her own tasks including performing of design task, construction and laboratory work.
IS2_K07 – Student understands the social role of technical graduates, the need to formulate and communicate to the public information, and views on the achievements of technology and other aspects of engineering. Student shall endeavor to provide such information and opinions in a generally comprehensible manner, taking into account all technical and non-technical aspects, including environmental, legal, economic and social aspects, as well as, the various points of view.
