Knowledge:
1. student understands elaborate biological processes relating to mire ecosystems;
2. student has got a widened knowledge of wetland biology and knows connections between peat bog issues and other natural disciplines;
3. student has a knowledge of current problems connected with wetland ecology.
Skills:
1. student has abilities to analyze and select information critically, especially from electronic sources;
2. student uses acquired knowledge of wetland ecology to formulate the right conclusions;
3. student is able to prepare oral presentation about selected research problems connected with telmatology;
4. student correctly uses literature connected with wetland ecology, including in English.
Social skills:
1. student is aware of the need to consult experts on difficult problems in the field of wetland ecology.
