Course content:

Vocabulary: mobile phones, describing people, –ed and –ing adjectives, school and education, houses/flats, friendship;

Grammar: modal verbs: must, have to, should (obligation), must, can’t, may, might (deduction and conjecture), can, could, be able to (ability and possibility),conditionals I and II, used to;

Academic skills: writing informal letters, describing a house or flat;

Assessment: Continuous assessment on the basis of class attendance (no more than two unjustified absences in a semester), active participation, preparation for classes; a written test at the end of the semester.
