Methods of expansion of world religions WT-SST-MER
The lecture is intended to introduce students to the complexity of issues related to the spread of the world's great religions, especially Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam. The class will examine the motivations, historical development, geographic development, and contemporary dynamics of the world's great religions.

STL_W05 - knows the main principles of evangelization, pastoral, catechetical and charitable activities of the Catholic Church, ecumenical and interreligious dialogue;
STL_W08 - knows the processes and conditions of religious-spiritual development and its threats;
STL_U07 - knows how to conduct worldview, ecumenical and interreligious dialogue especially in the interpretation of the Bible;
STL_U10 - is able to creatively engage in various forms of evangelization, pastoral, catechetical and charitable activities of the Catholic Church;
STL_K05 - is aware of the complexity of reality and understands the need for an interdisciplinary approach to solved problems;
STL_K07 - is aware of his own individual responsibility for the shape of social life, culture, Christian heritage.
Assessment criteria
As a mid-semester work, the student prepares a presentation on a selected topic related to the lecture (approved by the instructor) to be presented in class. Weight of the final grade: 1/3 - the student's presentation, 1/3 - activity during class, 1/3 - the final exam on the material discussed during class.
