Learning outcomes
Detailed familiarization with the contemporary approach to God on the background of the development of trinitology, beginning with the Bible, through the patristic period and Middle Ages, to modern and contemporary times. In the systematic part students will learn about the God of Revelation. Therefore, the main effect of education will be – based on the Revelation and the Tradition of the Church – a theological response to the growing interest in trynitary theology, which is turning more and more clearly into the personal and existential perspective as well as the perspective of the history of salvation. Students will also get acquainted with contradictory opinions on the Holy Trinity, Trinitarian heresies, and the Church’s Fathers’ fight against them, and also first ecumenical councils.
