The aim of the lecture is a presentation of basic issues within the scope of treatises discussing Eschatology. The student is expected to acquire the skills of: making use of basic concepts within the scope of the presented contents; giving biblical and ecclesiastic foundations and: applying them in daily religious procedure.
1. Contemporary eschatological conceptions
2. Eschatology- the oldest eschatological texts in OT
3. Apocalyptics and the Kingdom of God
4. Christ’s Parousia, The Last Judgment, the resurrection of the dead
5. Issues relating to death and resurrection of the body
6. The particular judgment
7. Issues relating to Purgatory
8. Issues relating to the existence of Hell
9. Heaven as the fulfillment of all promises
